8 September, the Muciara Short Film Festival, the competition dedicated to national and international independent short films, arrives in Trapani at Casina delle Palme. Now in its second edition, the festival will be presented by the journalist Claudia Parrinello. The screenings of the 10 finalist shorts will begin at 6:30 pm and the winners will be awarded, selected by a quality jury composed of director Simone Scafidi, actress Simona Malato and director of photography Emanuele Pasquet.

The Festival is hosted in the suggestive location of Casina delle Palme and Trapani. The artistic direction of the Festival is again entrusted this year to Vito Sugameli, founder of Silenzioinsala.com as well as a Trapani videomaker expert in the independent cinema sector. The event is free and open to everyone and everyone.

The competition, free in its theme and open to all genres, was launched on the filmfreeway platform at the end of March and ended on 20 August. Over 200 filmmakers from all over the world participated. The staff of the social community " The life of an editor " has recently selected the ten short films finalists of the Muciara Short Film Fest that will be screened at the Casina delle Palme.
