In order to participate in the Muciara Short Film Festival on Filmfreeway it is compulsory to read and accept the rules which you can read or download on this page
With the patronage of the Sicilian Region - Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity

The Muciara Short Film Festival is an international free -themed short film competition. It takes place live on 8-9 August 2023 in Custonaci. During the final evening the shorts in competition will be screened and the winning short films are rewarded.
To participate there is time until August 20, 2023.

Sections
- SHORT DRAMA IN COMPETITION (€ 10.00)
Works on any theme are admitted, lasting no more than 20 (twenty) minutes, titles included. The short films in the competition section will compete for the "Best Dramatic Short" award.
- SHORT COMEDY IN COMPETITION (€ 10.00)
Works on any theme are admitted, lasting no more than 20 (twenty) minutes, titles included. The short films in the competition section will compete for the "Best Short Comedy" award.
- SHORT DOCUMENTARY IN COMPETITION (€ 10.00)
Works on any theme are admitted, lasting no more than 20 (twenty) minutes, titles included. The short films in the competition section will compete for the "Best Documentary Short" award.
- ANIMATION / EXPERIMENTAL SHORT IN COMPETITION (€ 10.00)
Works on any theme are admitted, lasting no more than 20 (twenty) minutes, titles included. The short films in the competition section will compete for the "Best Animated / Experimental Short" award.
The staff of The Life of a Video Editor, whose Facebook group is a point of reference for filmmakers and technical departments of cinema industry, will take care of the awarding of online prizes and the selection of the 10 short films in Competition.
